Emblez Longoria has served as a senior security consultant with Verizon Communication in Basking Ridge, New Jersey, since joining the communications company in 2004. His responsibilities in this position involve safeguarding all company assets, preventing security breaches, and educating various employees and departments about relevant security threats and measures. His activities are critical to maintaining a safe and productive professional work environment.
In addition to his work at Verizon, Emblez Longoria is board-certified in security management and training. His achievements include the successful development of the Houses of Worship security project and increasing diversity in the Crime Council, which he led as chairman. He has also served on the professional certification board with ASIS International. Additionally, he completed specialized training with the Academy of Security Educators and Trainers and the Executive Protection Institute. His community service experience includes working as a volunteer trainer, a tutor, and a volunteer at Ground Zero during rescue and recovery efforts following September 11th. He graduated summa cum laude from Rosemont College with a degree in business management.
